Parish Mission

The Community of Saint Gregory the Great celebrates God’s love in Christ as a family of stewards centered in the Eucharist, the Word, and Christ’s presence in one another. We live to glorify God and proclaim God’s presence in this world. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are God’s Light, Love and hands extended.

Saint Gregory the Great exists to help nurture and enhance a relationship with God. As we live by faith, God is able to use us and cause us to grow in grace. God is able to make big changes in our lives, and through a process of trusting Him we can experience great joy.

Living in faith is a process that evolves and grows over a lifetime. We are committed to walking with you on your faith journey in order to help propagate a deeper love of God through all aspects of parish life.

The Catholic Faith

The Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ, the Son of God; its bishops are the successors of Christ’s apostles, and the Bishop of Rome, Pope Franics, is the direct successor of Saint Peter.  Click here for more information.

Daily Readings

It is a good practice to start your day spending time with God in His word.  As you read scripture, God speaks to your heart as you honestly apply His Word to your life.  It is also an excellent way to prepare for Mass!  Click here for today’s readings, reflections, and saint of the day.

The Sacraments

A sacrament is an outward sign of an inward reality; in other words, a special Grace bestowed from God that is celebrated with great reverence and ceremony.  There are seven sacraments in the Catholic church:

Baptism

Eucharist

Confirmation

Reconciliation

Anointing of the Sick

Matrimony

Holy Orders

Adult Faith Formation

Saint Gregory the Great has many ways to help form the faith of adults.  We offer bible study, missions, retreats, inspiring speakers, and many other adult educational opportunities to enrich our spiritual lives.

Youth Faith Formation

Faith Formation at Saint Gregory the Great is dedicated to offering faith-filled education for children so they will be well-equipped to answer God’s call to holiness and to enrich their personal relationship with Him.  Click here for more information.

Teen Faith Formation

This ministry is for high school students to help them grow in the faith by following Jesus Christ and living as His disciples in today’s world.  They accomplish this mission through a creative and inclusive youth group, a formative Confirmation program, and through a spirit-filled youth-led Mass.  Click here for more information.
